(Multiplayer is blocked for the Program, to counter smurfing/cheating/etc.).Did you set exceptions in your Firewall and Anti-Virus Program?.Are you 'Online' in Steam?
Steam sometimes puts you in an 'Offline' Mode (most of the time if your internet get's disconnected for a second or two). You can't search for a Server because Steam is (technically) not connected to the internet.You can try to verify your game cache, that might fix it ).Are you using a proxy? Try turning it off, I don't know if that would interfere, but I guess it's worth a shot. There are no servers in the browser.It's a bug, make sure the filters are off, click refresh and wait.
It may take a minute, maybe a couple but then it works again. Happens every couple of weeks to me, is usually fixed via patience and not constantly clicking refresh (hard to resist, I know). the single player is grayed out?If the single player client 'Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad - Single Player' client in your Steam overlay is grey, it is bough but simply not installed, it's a seperate download. (Doubt that's the case for you however since I guess you know how Steam works - please add a screenshot of the 'grayed out singleplayer' so we know exactly what you mean).
